With a customizable formula, VG7 ERP transforms a 3D product into 2D, calculating the yield as if it were a standard commercial product.
With the simplified calculation, it will be possible to quote products such as boxes, packaging, and small paper converting products using three measurements (length, height, depth), which the VG7 ERP will convert to base and height, thus producing a two-dimensional output on the press sheet.
By dynamic calculation of estimates, we mean the calculation that the VG7 engine performs to optimize every aspect of the product production.
On the basis of the parameterization performed on the technical-economic level of each job, the calculator is able to obtain results with different printing technologies (e.g. Digital or Offset, in the case of small-format printing) in order to determine the most cost-effective and efficient solution for the realization of the project.
The VG7 ERP allows the management of sheet and reel material waste, both in a general and specific manner, per individual material.
It also allows the configuration of waste in press sheets for the small format, both for the printing phase and for any other finishing following or preceding it.
This feature allows the simultaneous calculation of the same quotation for several quantities, showing the result on a single page. It is used in cases where it is necessary to send the customer an offer with several runs.
This feature allows the simultaneous calculation of the same quotation for several subjects, showing the result on a single page. It is also possible to specify different quantities for each subject.
E-mail Notifications are of different types and can be generated either automatically or sent manually.
Thanks to this feature, customers will always be updated on the status of their orders and payments. In particular, they will be able to receive confirmation of Registration to the website integrated with the VG7 ERP, Order Confirmation, Feedback on the control of graphic files, Tracking of the parcel or product ready for pick-up.
This feature allows to create an archive of die-cuts (also importable via CSV) that can then be used on labels and small format configurators.
Each die-cut has the fields base, pitch height, inches, rows, band columns. Rows and columns define the yield (the number of poses per die-cut), while base and height define the size. These fields are used to impose the format and yield of the die-cut on the calculation (similarly to what can be done manually with defined die-cut yield and defined die-cut format).
The three format variants (length, height and depth) will be used by the VG7 ERP to calculate the base and height dimensions of the format, on which the print yield will be based, using a formula that can be defined during configuration.
